When to register for the AICPA exam
When should I start the CPA Exam registration process?
We highly recommend that you start the registration process as soon as possible. Due to the fact that a candidate faces multiple deadlines, including a six-month notice-to-schedule deadline in conjunction with an eighteen-month window to complete all parts of the exam, a candidate must carefully plan his or her approach.
The AICPA and Prometric recommend scheduling test dates forty-five days prior to your desired date, to improve your chances of receiving that date. Candidate demand and test site seating capacity may also play a role in availability of dates.
